An indoor postnatal circuits style exercise class for mums and their babies, crawlers and toddlers. We work through different exercise stations: a combination of cardio, strength & conditioning for the whole body, focusing on the relevant areas for a new mum. We also incorporate some HIIT training modified to suit the individual fitness levels and postpartum recovery of each mum.

MumFit is suitable for all levels of fitness. For the majority of the workouts we offer modifications at levels 1, 2 or 3 so each mum can work at the appropriate level for her. To participate in MumFit a 6-8 week GP health check is essential before commencing the class and if you have had a more complex delivery or c-section please get in touch before attending for the first time.
What to bring
Please wear a good quality sports bra and drink plenty of water before, during and after the class, particularly if you are breastfeeding. A few soft toys for your little one are also a good idea. Playmatts and baby gyms are provided, you may wish to bring a blanket or muslin for your baby to lie on.
Every Monday 11am-12noon at Wilmslow United Reform Church on Chapel Lane in Wilmslow. Every Wednesday 11.15am-12.15pm at The Northern Tennis Club on Palantine Road in West Didsbury and every Wednesday 1-2pm at Strength & Performance gym in Knutsford (free parking available at all sites).
At Wilmslow church there is a church cafe on site for a cup of tea socialising with other mums after the class and to feed the little ones. At the Northern there is a friendly clubhouse which you are welcome to use. At Knutsford and Wilmslow the class takes place on the ground floor. However please note that the exercise studio at The Northern, Didsbury is upstairs. There is a lift if required, however space for prams in the exercise studio is limited so it is advisable for prams to be left downstairs unless your baby is sleeping. Thankyou
